Sacred Heart College, in conjunction with Operation Wallacea, will soon be taking student expressions of interest for our 2021 Borneo Expedition (20 June – 5 July). Students spend a week in the rainforests of Borneo, and a week diving/snorkelling in the tropical Coral Triangle off the coast of Borneo. Students will be working with scientists who are experts in their field, and the data collected will be used in peer reviewed journals to justify conservation of Borneo’s incredible biodiversity.
This Borneo schools video gives a close approximation of what the expedition will be like. More information can also be found on the Opwall Borneo page.
On Thursday March 5 at 7.00pm Dr Tim Coles, founder of Operation Wallacea will give a parent information evening at Sacred Heart about the Borneo Expedition. To register for this event or request further information please contact SHC staff member Mr Dave Campbell
