On Tuesday 1 February, our Year 7 students started their secondary schooling at SHC. There was much excitement as the girls met each other at the start of the day, with chatter and laughter echoing throughout the Atrium. They then made their way to their respective House areas, where they attended their first assembly, albeit a smaller than usual one, which consisted of a prayer and welcome. The Year 7s then met their Year 12 buddies, who were able to answer any questions the girls may have had about life at SHC.
From period 3 onwards the girls attended their regular timetabled classes, whereby they partook in 'getting to know you' and teamwork activities, as well as being introduced to their new subjects.
We welcome our newest cohort to SHC, and hope they get as much out of their time here as possible!
