Wednesday 1 February saw all our students return to SHC for another productive year of learning. We are sure it will be a rewarding year for all our students and staff, with many achievements and personal growth attained.

Our newest students, our Year 7 cohort, were warmly welcomed on St Stephen’s Green, where they were grouped in their respective Houses for the very first time. Then it was time to break off into Mentor Groups and get to know their fellow classmates and Mentor Group teachers. 

An information session then helped the students gain an understanding of what it is to be a Sacred Heart College student, and a fun Treasure Hunt around the College helped in navigating around the many beautiful buildings and surrounds we are so lucky to have here at SHC.

Lunch was followed by activities undertaken by the Year 7s alongside their Year 10 ‘buddies’, who will no doubt prove to be a valuable resource to our Year 7 students throughout their first year at SHC.
