On Tuesday 23 July, three Sacred Heart College netball teams competed in the Victorian All School Region round at Kardinia Park. They competed against schools from around Geelong. Each team was competitive across the day. Our junior team finished 2nd overall to Christian College, the Intermediate team finished 2nd overall to Iona and the Senior team finished 3rd overall to Geelong College and Christian College. All teams should be proud of their efforts.
Thank you to our three student umpires – Alice Christian, Imani Sagnol and Zoe Van Dreumel who umpired across the three divisions on the day and to Holly Britt who assisted the Intermediate team on the day. Thank you to our coaches Annette Hooley & Laura Bourke – Junior, Fiona Biggs – Inter, and Geraldine Renkauskas – Senior; for all their time and effort with trials and coaching on the day.
