Year 7 Faith Day

On Wednesday 23 October we celebrated Year 7 Faith Day. The students completed activities that looked to deepen their understanding of Mary in the Catholic tradition. They explored the story of Mary and the different ways the story of Mary gives meaning to people today.

Some of the craft activities the students undertook included:

  • Making rosary bracelets
  • Making felt hearts and crosses
  • Mary stained glass windows
  • Hail Mary writing mandalas

We are sure the students came away from the day with a renewed affinity with Mary and the importance she holds in the Catholic faith.

Thank you to all those involved. We truly appreciate all that you did to make the day so memorable for our students.
